Gus has 20 years experience with Eastern and Western herbalism and
dietary therapies. He has been practicing Integrative Herbalism and Chinese Medicine
for 10 years (since 1994). Gus has attended 7 Colleges and Universities in his
academic career including National College of Naturopathic Medicine,
Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and Five Branches Institute of
Traditional Chinese Medicine. He holds degrees in Philosophy and
Traditional Chinese Medicine (in which he completed a Masters). Gus has
lectured, taught or led medicinal plant walks for a number of
businesses and institutions including Five Branches Institute of
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Meridian Institute College of
Integrated Chinese Medicine. He is the founder and formulator of
Shamanic Tonics Natural Products (in business since 1993) and acts as a
consultant to various herbal practitioners and manufacturers as well as
individuals.
